Axis Certified Professional Video Surveillance System Installer

Position Overview:
CanDat Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Axis Certified Professional Video Surveillance System Installer to join our growing team in Vancouver, BC, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Axis video surveillance systems, ensuring the highest quality service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
– Installation: Perform the installation and configuration of Axis video surveillance systems, including cameras, recorders, and other related equipment.
– Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing maintenance and repair services for existing surveillance systems, addressing any technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
– Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring that installations meet their security needs and providing them with system training as required.
– System Configuration: Set up, configure, and fine-tune surveillance systems based on site requirements and client specifications.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate installation and service records, including system configurations and maintenance logs.
– Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and other technical staff to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
– Axis Certification: Must be an Axis Certified Professional (ACP) with experience in the installation and support of Axis video surveillance systems.
– Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining video surveillance systems.
– Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IP cameras, network video recorders (NVR), and surveillance software.
– Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
– Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and indoor installations, and lift or move equipment as necessary.
– Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
– Valid Driver’s License: Required for travel to client locations throughout Vancouver and surrounding areas.
